# Daily Difficulty Clock

Legacy has built in difficulty clock in a lot of the components that create the entire protocol. Every day a number of different variables get updated and those are: 

* **New production of Legacy (dailyMintableLegacy, also called Daily Legacy Minting Cap in the dApp) goes down by -0.35%** which means with every day builders are going to create for you less Legacy.

* **ETH Cost for Builders goes up by +0.08%** which means that with each passing day you will need to spend more $$$ to create new builder
* **Share Rate goes up +0.03% every day** which means you are going to receive less shares every day.&#x20;
* **LegacyRank Bonus goes down -0.35% every day**
